Altitude: 230 m. above sea level
Soil: sandy, soft and draining, rich in minerals and with good organic content
Planting density: 4,000 plants/ha
Yield: 90 q./ha the Trebbiano; 60 q./ha the Chardonnay
ORGANOLEPTIC ANALYSIS
Colour: pale straw yellow with greenish glints
Aromas: persistent and fine with white fruit notes (Golden apple and William pear)
Taste: dry, round and balanced, supported by marked freshness and natural acidity
GRAPES
Pinot Grigio – Chardonnay
VINIFICATION
Temperature controlled fermentation between 15 and 16 °C is followed by a short refining in stainless steel vats and by an early bottling which catches the full varietal freshness
GASTRONOMY
The Chardonnay fullness and the Pinot Grigio fragrance give birth to an easy to drink wine also thanks to its moderate alcoholicity.
It’s a very versatile wine, crisp and refreshing, ideal as aperitif. It matches starters, risotto with vegetables or pasta dishes with fish, white meats, roasted vegetable and couscous salads and many types of lightly spiced food. Try also with a cheese and fruit platter – aromatic soft and hard cheeses.
